The cost of the label printing is shown on our order page. It is also shown in our ordering PDF and there is a full explanation here.
2. What is the postage charge?
Postage will be charged at the usual NaturallyThinking rate.
Next day may not always be available on label printing. Please call to check if you required the order urgently.
3. How do I pay for the rest of my order after I have paid the setup fee?
We will contact you by email with an invoice number for you to call our customer services to settle the bill. ALternatively you can transfer the
money into paypal and quote the order number. We get quite a lot of payments though so make sure you let us know you are doing it!
4. Are there any other costs on top of the detailed charges on the site?
Usually there will be no further costs. On rare occassions we may have to charge an extra cost if the labels are designed to use an exceptionally high level of ink but we will tell you this before and printing takes place.
5. What is the £10 charge for?
We charge a £10 setup fee on each different label to have printed. This is a fee for setting the label up for printing, any communication with you regarding the printing and an electronic proof.
6. Do I have to design my own label?
We have different options label design. You can design your own label on a design programme or on Inkscape (available to download on the labelshomepage) or we can design your label for you.
Basic design usually costs £60+VAT per label. However, please see our Label Design Service Brochure for full details of the options available to you. We will also be running courses in Label Design and Labelling Regulations towards the end of this year. 7. You mentioned on the site a program called 'Inkscape', what is this?
Inkscape is a free, downloadable program similar to other vector design packaged such as Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator. It is a great program with lots of features and we have included links to the tutorials to help you. We also have all our templates in a format suitable for the program.
8. Can you tell me the size of label I need for my packaging?
We can! See our templates here and our spreadsheet of recommended sizes here. We also recommend you read the template terms and conditions here.
9. What choice of paper do I have?
You can have white matt paper or clear gloss. You can also have glossy laminate put on top for extra protection.
10. Are the labels waterproof?
All our labels are waterproof
11. Why should I have my labels laminated?
Although labels are waterproof this will not protect against all the elements. If you are transporting products to fairs/craft stalls/shows they can cause degrading against each other etc and can have spillage of chemicals such as essential oils. Lamination provides protection against all these possible problems.
12. Can you stick my labels on my products for me?
We can stick your labels on. We charge 15p per application and it is subject to our Label Application Terms and Conditions.
13. How many colours can I use on my labels?
We use digital laser printing systems for our label printing. It is the latest technology and means you do not need to choose an 'amount' of colours like with old style plate printing.
14. How do I check my colours are the same printed as on the screen?
We offer a printed proof for a cost of £12 which you can choose when purchasing the labels. We will ask you this once you have submitted your files when preparing your invoice for label printing.
15. What is 'Bleed'?
Bleed is the space used to make the label slightly large than the cut line. This is done to let the cutting blade have a small margin for error on its cut. This means any slightly offline cuts will not show up against the product.
16. What is 'Label Artwork'?
Label artwork is an exact image of how your label should be printed. This is an actual full label in a format ready to print.
17. Can I place my logo onto your label designs to use with your products?
No. We do not let other companies/individuals use our label designs. These are our property and are not for reproduction.
18. Is there a minimum order?
There is no minimum order on labels without lamination. Due to the extended set up time and extra wastage We have a minimum order of 50 of each laminated label.
This should be filled in with the amount of unique labels you would like printed, irrelevant to how many of each you would like to be printed.
19. How long will it take to receive my order?
We try to ship all label orders within 72 hours. We will try to keep you informed of the expected delivery date at all points through the process.
20. Will I get my £10 back?
No, this is a non refundable amount.
21. How does ordering work?

22. Will you assess my files before I submit them and pay the setup fee?
The simple answer to this is 'no'. If you have your full label designed in a PDF or EPS format it should be fine - remember to show where the cut should be though!
23. If I don't put a cut line on my files what will you do?
We will use our experience to guess where it should be on your preview - so remember to check it is in the right place on your electronic proof.
24. What is a 'Printed Proof'?
A printed proof is a printed example of your label, usually without being cut to show you the colours.
25. What is an 'Electronic Proof'?
This is what everyone receives before printing. It is an electronic file of your label showing where the label will be cut out.
26. By what courier will my order be shipped?
Your order will be shipped by UK Mail. You can track your order at http://www.ukmail.com
27. How long will it take to receive my order?

28. Can I pick my labels up from your warehouse or shop?
You can but please wait for us to let you know when they are ready.

Not unless you pay the extra fee - we will ask you after you have submitted your labels.
